There are various things you can do initially to simplify tasks. For example, in order to send out e-mail, the program needs to know about your e-mail program.
Here is what is needed to set up e-mail.
You will be prompted for various items.
The first is the Host. This is the outgoing mail SMTP server. In your e-mail program, go to Edit|Preferences|e-mail servers.
The next is your local computer name. Right click on the My Computer icon on the desktop, and go to the Network Properties tab. You will see the name here:
You then enter your name along with your e-mail address.
