Other general comments

The purpose of cleaning up email is not to speed the search, but to make it easier for me to quickly read. I have several tricks that make this possible. Again, it is not the computer's speed that is important, but my speed, that is, my time.

Labels.  The user can modify the label table. You can set a filter on a label. E.g., you want to see all emails that contain published articles.

The program checks for new email, and changes the color of the bar in the taskbar when new mail comes.
