Here is where you actually load in the email.
The first menu item, Read, brings up a file selector to read .txt files. This file is stored, so next time if you want to read the same file, press Read Same, and the file selector will not appear. The file is read and stored into the database.
Sometimes when you press Save in Netscape (or whatever email program you are using), the text file is not created. This may happen if there is a lot of graphics. In this case, Edit|Select All and Copy. Now press Read Clipboard, and it will read the email that you Copied. Read Hebrew Clipboard does the same, but reformats the characters to make it readable Hebrew.
Read Addresses will read a list of addresses from a file.
Read Outlook addresses will read from a file created by Microsoft Outlook.
Clean. If checked, the email will be cleaned up, by replacing non-printing characters by blanks, and removal of double blanks.
Only one From. Sometimes the email that you receive has many From fields. If you want to save only one, check this.
Original Message. If checked, text containing the original message will not appear.
Proportional. If not checked, the mail that you read in will contain monospace fonts, which is useful for numbers or program code. This has no effect on Hebrew, which is always a monospace font. |
