The idea of leaving items visible is also important to the students. I encourage them to write on one side of the paper only for this reason. It is easier to refer back to previous work. I would suggest making this a requirement, not to accept any work written on the back of other work.

 

Teachers need to take this attitude, and never photocopy on two sides. It is more important to improve the educational process than to save trees and paper.

 

In most business establishments, papers are given with text on one side. Personally, I never write on the back of sheets.
