Students’ teaching each other is an old, successful tool of pedagogy, and should be encouraged.

 

What I tell my students that an excellent way to learn is to teach. I tell them that I learn more material teaching than the students. What I try to do sometimes is to ask students to pair up and teach each other. Sometimes I'll get a pair of students, ask them to teach each other, and I'll listen in to observe.
