Isn't it amazing how a person can quickly recognize his or her children out of a crowd? Animals are the same way. Penguins recognize the cries of their children out of the crowd. The parents want to give food to their children. Why do they want to give to their children, and not to just any young penguin? The answer is that evolution favors the passing of the genes.
