Knowledge of the subject

Knowledge of the subject. A perquisite for teaching a subject is knowledge of the subject. The teacher should write the list of concepts that appear in the chapter to be taught. Write down all phrases that occur in the book. This list should appear in the lesson plan, before the goals.

If you do not fully understand a concept, then research it out, using books, the Internet, and, of course, talk to the other teachers.

Do not confuse efforts in understanding the concepts with plans on what to teach and how to teach. This is why concepts best be listed in the lesson plans separately from the goals.

Not only must one understand the concepts, but also we must understand how they are related to the other concepts.

We must do all the homework problems as sometimes the answer in the book is wrong. In addition, we must clarify all the concepts and write them down, as sometimes the explanations in the book are wrong. This list of concepts with the simple explanations would then be part of the lesson plan.
