Giggling

Top  Previous  Next

Giggling must be stopped. One way to stop it is for the teacher to walk to the student, start talking, and ask questions about the material. This will get her (his) attention on the subject matter. E.g., “What is meant by ratio?” In any case, the teacher must be firm and insist that giggling not be tolerated. When a student giggles, the student is not aware of anything going on in class.
