It is important to understand that teaching as a moral act, an act of integrity and human value and fairness and equity are really under fundamental attack out here in the classrooms everyone has forgotten hold the dreams of tomorrow. No one will ever convince me that my students, though poor and seeing less and less opportunity to get to higher education are not tomorrow's future, no matter what score they make.
